Web3 Provider Watch — 2026-10-07
Claimable
Claim Goldsky's $100 one-time credit without a payment card through its pricing page. Apply through the Alchemy Startup Program for Alchemy credits and $5,000 in AWS credits; eligible Base Builder Stack teams can also apply for up to $5,000 in Alchemy credits (program details). Blockmachine offers the first month free through the linked Base form. Base builders can request 20% off Dune annual plans by emailing Dune support from a work email, or apply through the linked Base Builder Stack form for Birdeye's 30% off six months or free Business Lite; eligibility applies. Chainstack's pricing page again displays GROWTH50, but does not publish its discount amount, eligibility or expiry.
New services and betas
No confirmed new provider launch was found in the 48-hour sweep. Envio's changelog has an Oct 5 HyperIndex v3.14.0 entry, but the page does not show a publication time, so its position inside the 48-hour window is uncertain.
Act by date
Today, Oct 7 UTC, QuickNode lists Hedera Relay, Stacks and Sui Testnet maintenance; Nodit's Aptos Testnet Web3 Data API is suspended for a network reset, with Oct 9 resumption provisional. On Oct 8, The Graph ends BNB Chain/Polygon Studio staging queries; Base's public RPC removes debug, trace and txpool methods; QuickNode has OP-stack and Hedera Mirror maintenance, plus Tempo Testnet v1.16.0 (its header says Oct 7 while the body says Oct 8). Oct 12 brings the Colosseum cutoff, Etherscan's opBNB API support end and QuickNode Avalanche maintenance. QuickNode Sonic v2.2.4 and Bitcoin Cash v29.2.0 maintenance are Oct 13. Etherscan's Robinhood/Arc community endpoints remain free through Oct 15. Ankr Kaia endpoints end Oct 16. Sui still targets full-node JSON-RPC removal for “mid-October,” without an exact day.
Changes and risks
QuickNode reports World Chain Mainnet intermittent 503s; Injective production resumed at 10:18 UTC but its incident remains in Monitoring. X Layer Testnet recovered at 04:25 UTC. Nodit's suspension is limited to the Aptos Testnet Web3 Data API. Etherscan now returns Proxy=2 for minimal proxies; clients should accept that value. Hiro says paid Stacks subscriptions end Oct 30 and API access becomes free, with final limits unpublished. Dedaub publishes standalone Decompiler API pricing separately from its sales-led Security Suite. Codex MPP is $0.001/request in USDC on Tempo without an API key or account.
Gaps
Oct 6 has no publication; this is a single current-day catch-up update, not a fabricated backfill. Biconomy's free entitlement and prices remain unconfirmed; Moralis' pricing page conflicts with its FAQ on a free Starter plan; Jito's past-dated ShredStream shutdown notice conflicts with its live homepage.
