Web3 Provider Watch — 2026-10-04

Claimable now

Goldsky’s pricing page offers a one-time $100 credit without a card; partner-referred early-stage teams can ask about 50% off year one. Pre-Series A teams can apply for eight free Business months via the Helius Startup Launchpad; Series A+ teams are ineligible. Onchain teams can apply to Alchemy’s Startup Program for Alchemy credits (amount and approval unspecified), $5,000 AWS credits and engineering support. Sui builders can apply for variable credits through the BlockPI Builder Program; review typically takes 2–3 business days. Pre-Series A teams with no prior QuickNode promotional credits can apply through QuickNode Startup for undisclosed credits. Teams above one billion monthly requests can contact Dwellir about 50%+ PAYG savings. Tatum pricing advertises 50% off two-year billing, with no end date shown. The Avalanche Builder Hub still lists Team1 Mini Grants as “Apply Now”; current amount and closing date were not visible, and the grant destination did not load.

New services and betas

No new entrant or beta was independently confirmed in the bounded 48-hour official-source sweep. QuickNode notices were rechecked and remain in the tracker; its TON Mainnet incident is marked resolved at 00:29 UTC Oct 3.

Act by date

Oct 4: Arbitrum Open House shows a 15:59 cutoff, timezone unspecified; it was still marked “Live” at 12:08 UTC. Oct 5: QuickNode World Chain and Zcash testnet upgrades. Oct 6: Sepolia Glamsterdam at 13:53:36 UTC; QuickNode Polygon and Tempo upgrades; Starknet’s header says Oct 6 but body says Oct 5. Oct 7: QuickNode Stacks and Hedera Relay upgrades. Oct 8: The Graph ends BNB Smart Chain and Polygon Studio staging queries; QuickNode schedules Hedera Mirror and Optimism-Stack maintenance. Oct 12: Colosseum closes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific (Oct 13 06:59 UTC); Etherscan ends opBNB support (time unstated); QuickNode schedules Avalanche maintenance. Oct 13: QuickNode Sonic maintenance. Oct 15: Etherscan’s Robinhood Chain and Arc community endpoints remain free through this date; Lite+ is required from Oct 16. Sui’s code-removal target remains “mid-October”; Oct 15 is only a tracking placeholder.

Existing-provider changes

UniSat’s official page now lists 30,000 free monthly calls, down from 60,000 in the Sep 27 observation; separate docs state 2,000/day and 5 calls/s. No effective date is given. Lava’s older official RPC pages describe public no-signup access at 30 requests/s and keyed access at 5M requests/month, but the newer catalog does not confirm these plans. NodeReal’s pricing matrix lists Archive Data on Free and Debug API excluded; stale quota text conflicts. Tatum’s page again advertises its 50% two-year discount.

Gaps

Arbitrum’s terms PDF returned 403 and its cutoff timezone is unknown. Starknet’s date conflict and Sui’s exact day remain unresolved. QuickNode’s Tempo, Hedera Mirror and Optimism incident pages returned “Cache miss,” though its dashboard lists their windows. Provider-page research was targeted, not exhaustive.
